The Thermodynamic Steam Trap is simple and compact with a single moving part (disc) which opens to discharge condensate and closes in the presence of steam. Body materials are available in Stainless and Alloy Steels for pressures up to 3,600 PSIG. Widely used in higher pressure drip applications and critical tracing applications where condensate back-up is not permitted.
Applications
Draining condensate from steam mains and steam supply lines. Can also be used for steam tracing applications.
TD900S vs TD900LS

Selection Information
While both the TD900S and TD900LS will operate with pressures up to 900 PSIG, the TD900LS has a slightly smaller discharge orifice and is recommended for system pressures over 150 PSIG because of increased efficiency and performance.
