Condensate Return Pumps — PMPSP & PMPSPL Series Carbon Steel Sump Drainers

The stand-alone Pressure Motive Pump (PMP) consists of the pump tank, the internal operating mechanism, and a set of inlet and outlet check valves. The internal mechanism is equipped with the Patented “Snap-Assure” design which extends the life of the pump. Mechanism incorporates heat-treated stainless steel wear items.

These units can operate using steam, air, nitrogen or other pressurized inert gases as the motive force. Depending on the particular model, pump tanks can be made from Ductile Iron, Fabricated Steel or Stainless Steel. An additional receiver or reservoir tank will be required to complete the system.

PMPSP & PMPSPL Series — Carbon Steel “PIT BOSS” Sump Drainers

The PMPSP & PMPSPL Sump Drainers use the identical internal mechanism as the standard PMP models. The piping configuration is such that the liquid is discharged vertically upwards as opposed to horizontally out the side, allowing the unit to be easily positioned inside of a sump area.

Condensate or water from the sump enters the tank through a stainless steel low-resistance check valve. The tank body is made of carbon steel. The PMPSPL is a low-profile, lower capacity unit. ASME “UM” code stamp is standard.
