WFPV Series — Stainless Steel Freeze Protection Valves

The WFPV Series Freeze Protection Valves are stainless steel safety devices designed to protect piping, valves, pumps, condensate systems, and freeze-sensitive equipment from damage caused by freezing temperatures. These valves automatically drain fluid when temperatures approach freezing, preventing pipe rupture and equipment failure.

Operating Principles

The WFPV contains a temperature-sensitive element that monitors fluid temperature. When temperature drops below approximately 35°F, the valve opens to discharge fluid and prevent freezing. The valve remains open below 40°F and closes automatically when temperature rises above this threshold.
