Operating Principles

As wet steam or air enters the WDS separator, the internal design forces a sudden reduction in velocity and creates a swirling motion. Moisture droplets are separated by centrifugal force and gravity, collecting at the bottom of the vessel for removal. Dry steam or air then flows upward and exits through the outlet.
