Inverted Bucket Steam Trap — IB1033 Series (125 PMO PSIG)

The IB Inverted Bucket Steam Traps were specifically designed for removing condensate from steam mains and steam supply lines. Inverted Bucket traps can also be used on unit heaters, laundry equipment and other less critical process applications where slow start-up due to poor air handling characteristics can be tolerated. Inverted bucket traps can handle superheated steam when a check valve is used on the inlet side which prevents the trap from losing prime.

Selection Information

Select a model with a maximum operating pressure (PMO) that meets or exceeds the maximum steam pressure or the trap may not open. Choose a model that will handle the capacity requirement based on the differential pressure across the trap.

Note: For FTES, Max Operating Steam Pressure is up to 300 PSIG.
