The WFLH Series Flash Steam Recovery Horizontal Vessels are carbon steel flash tanks designed to capture and utilize flash steam generated from high-pressure condensate. By recovering flash steam that would otherwise be vented to the atmosphere, these vessels significantly improve energy efficiency in steam systems.

Operating Principles

High-pressure condensate enters the flash vessel, where a portion of it re-evaporates (flashes) into low-pressure steam. This recovered flash steam can be redirected to low-pressure heating loads, deaerators, or other process equipment, reducing overall steam demand and fuel costs.
